Broome holds some air of mystery, maybe it’s the days past, knowing the town was a bustling pearling town, a hub for trade and a melting pot of cultures. Maybe it’s the beauty of the landscape, particularly the coast. Or maybe the tropical and lush vegetation where seeds are sewn.

Broome is a town full of surprising history.

Broome is a town full of surprising history. It is well set out with a great buss serv ice to get you around to most of the tourist attractions at a reasonable price. If I were to go again I would get the bus pass sooner. The people were friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable prices for food and drinks were. There were lots of good places to eat, especially the cafes.

Free chilled water in the fridge :) and staff were nice. It has 2 big pools with a nice space for eating/drinking around the pool. The day bed in the bedroom was a nice touch. There is a lift for you to use up to the 2nd floor. The room was a nice size. The place is in a good location in Broome. You can walk to The mangrove to see the full moon rising. The Hotel has the history of being one of the oldest places. The breakfast menu had many options and offered 2 health juices.

The location is excellent. It has a lovely garden overlooking the bay and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the town, museum and local dining pub Matso's, one of the most popular places to eat in Broome. A local bus service is available to take you to Cable Beach or it is a short trip in a taxi. The room was spacious and clean. The reception staff were helpful and obliging. We had to leave a day earlier and were refunded the extra amount.

We loved everything. The location ....being close to the markets, the town, Mangrove hotel, buses. The cleanliness, the amenities, the comfort, the pool and bbq area, the ambience. And above all, the welcome and staff ...very helpful and friendly, but not gushing. This would be our preferred choice if we ever revisited Broome and we'd highly recommend it to family and friends.

Pinctada is a wonderful place to stay - beautiful older-style Broome house, lovely garden and pool. Great beds and breakfasts, and helpful staff. The location is walking distance to Town Beach, and a slightly longer walk to town, or catch the Explorer Bus from the bus stop nearby. A special place to stay.

the location was prime for Broome! Only a 10 min walk to cable beach. For a serviced apartment it was great and had everything we needed, inlcuding washing machine and clothes airer (although clothes dry instantly in Broome) the pool area was lovely.
